CE Craig free debt consultation

When coming to meet with a trustee for your free initial consultation to discuss your financial situation, the following is a list of the basic information that you should bring.

To help make the appointment with the Trustee more beneficial for you, we suggest that you take a few minutes before your appointment to prepare the following to bring along with you to your free initial consultation:

– Write down a summary of your creditors and the amounts that are owed to each (ballpark amounts are fine)

– Prepare a quick average monthly budget (of your average income and expenses) for your family unit, not including payments to creditors.

– A copy of your most recent pay stub or a current bank statement showing deposit amounts

– If you are subject to any legal action, please bring in the court documents

– Asset information – we would also like to discuss the values of any assets (or at least the value of any large personal assets) including values held in RRSP’s, investments, Fair Market Value of houses, vehicles, boats, RESP’s and any secured debt associated with these assets if any.

A free consultation is a face to face meeting with a trustee where your personal debt repayment options can be explored. This consultation is a one on one session where you can have your questions answered is a stress free setting.
